PROGRAM NOTES

In our lives we all have fears of one type or another. When I realized that almost all the fears of virtually everyone are only fears of things that MIGHT happen in the future (and therefore imaginary ones), I became aware of the absurdity of the situation. "Future Fears" is an attempt to exorcise these fears through courage and personal development. It was composed in the spirit of learning the wisdom of living and appreciating the "Here and Now". It is a complex one movement piece in several sections, in which I used various styles and techniques, trying to evoke moods of different character.

PROGRAMMA DI SALA

Ognuno nella sua vita ha delle paure, di un tipo o di un altro. Se ci si ferma pero' a considerare il fatto che quasi tutte le nostre paure sono di cose che POTREBBERO accadere nel futuro (e pertanto immaginarie), ci si rendera' conto dell'assurdita' della situazione. "Future Fears" (paure future) e' un tentativo di esorcizzare questo tipo di paure, tramite il coraggio e lo sviluppo della personalita'. Il lavoro e' stato composto con lo spirito di acquisire la saggezza necessaria per apprezzare e vivere il "Qui e Ora". Si tratta di un lavoro complesso in un solo movimento, suddiviso in diverse sezioni, all'interno del quale ho usato stili e tecniche compositive diverse, allo scopo di evocare emozioni e stati d'animo di varia natura.
